The Library is the Fail Safe.

Confused on where to study?  Many students, like me, opt for studying at home because it is easy.  I have found out that studying at home is rarely the best option.  At home, you are relaxed.  You have the ability to lounge in bed or you have to try to balance studying around other activities.  This does not lead to the best end result.  I have tried many different quiet places to study at IUSB.  As exams are upon us, the Library is a prime spot for those needing to prepare for finals.  The IUSB Library offers spaces for both individual study and group work.  Both group work and individual study are appropriate for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floors.  The 4th floor is reserved for quiet, individual study.

On the 4th floor, in addition to a large number of study tables, there are a limited number of study rooms that are available on a first-come basis.  Students on the 4th floor are asked to silence their phones and other portable electronic devices and to refrain from talking or engaging in activities that generate noise that might disturb others.  Library staff will be available to assist with noise complaints.

Below is the Library schedule during exams.  Good luck!

 Fall & Spring Session Hours:

Sunday: 12 noon – midnight

Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. – midnight

Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Bonus to studying at the library, you don’t even have you make your own coffee! Come join me, cream or sugar?
